About Iris

Food has played an intricate part early in Iris Richardson’s life. She started her culinary career as a chef apprentice in Germany. There she trained under many well established chefs. As a chef she sought out some of the most beautiful resort towns and hotels in Europe: a charming small establishment in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, and grand five star hotels in Davos and Interlaken, Switzerland. Today she lives right outside Philadelphia photographing what she loves best, Food. When she is not photographing in her studio or on location you will find her outside in her large garden taking pictures of nature’s bounty.
